Matt Conard

Matt earned his undergraduate degree from American University before commissioning as a US Army officer serving 9 years, deploying twice to Afghanistan and once to Bosnia. After leaving the military in 2018, he transitioned into the technology sector and joined SAS for over 8 years. Matt gained experience in project management and business development focusing on State, Local, and Federal governments, ending his career as a manager.

During his military service and then while working at SAS he completed an MBA at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and an additional master’s degree from North Carolina State University. Drawing on his leadership and technical experience, he joined Legacy Financial Advisors in 2026.
